Filmapalooza 2019 Feature Film Focus Panel

At the 48 Hour Film Project’s Film Festival, FILMAPALOOZA, held in Orlando, FL, March 6-9, 2019, I served on a panel called Feature Film Focus. Also, on the panel were: Derk van den Berg (a prominent Dutch filmmaker) and Conrad Faraj (new film: Fighting the Sky). The panel was moderated by 48 Hour Film Project founder Mark Ruppert. Our topic: How to make the leap from short film to feature film.

Additional panels at Filmapalooza 2019 were: How to Succeed on the Festival Circuit; The Practicalities of Low-Budget Filmmaking; Prepping the Film; Motion Capture Animation; Scriptwriting and more.

During the four days I spent at 2019 Filmapalooza in Orlando, I enjoyed 71 short films from all over the world. I also attended the Awards Ceremony on Saturday, March 9, where the Best Film of 2018 was announced: Sonrisitaby the team from Cote d’Azur in France.
