LIGHTHOUSE HILL (feature)

Above is the trailer for a British comedy I wrote called Lighthouse Hill. The magical comedy stars Jason Flemyng, who played Benjamin Button’s father in the Oscar-winning film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Other cast members include: Kirsty Mitchell, Maureen Lipman, Frank Finlay, John Sessions and Kulvinder Ghir.

I wrote the script for this film after I moved to Los Angeles to pursue a screenwriting career. The original title was Sage of Waldo but when British director David Fairman optioned the script and Carnaby Films in London signed on to produce, the title was changed a couple times, settling on Lighthouse Hill. My husband and I travelled from the U.S. to London to work with the director and actors in rehearsal shortly before the film began principal photography. It was an amazing experience and after the film was completed we went back to London for the royal premiere.
