Appearances

2022 FILMAPALOOZA, WASHINGTON, D.C.

Sharon’s third workshop for the 48 Hour Film Project’s annual convergence of hundreds of international filmmakers will be presented in Washington, D.C. at 2022 Filmapalooza. The workshop titled Screenwriting: Taking the Leap from Short to Feature will take place Saturday, March 12, 2022 at the AFI Silver Theatre.

2020 FILMAPALOOZA, ROTTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS

Sharon will be presenting a workshop at 2020 Filmapalooza, the 48 Hour Film Project’s annual city winner-filmmakers’ screenings and awards. Filmapalooza will be held in Rotterdam, March 3-7, 2020.

2020 will be a record year for feature script and film sales to production companies and online platforms. International filmmakers will learn what sold to film producers and studios in 2019, where to find information about contacting producers and how to get their feature scripts directly to them without agency representation. Workshop attendees will get a genre breakdown of feature films presented at the most recent American Film Market. 48 Hour Project filmmakers can leap from short films to features with the right knowledge and strategies.
