Shine On Wins Best Film 2019 Machete Chronicles 80s Horror Film Festival
On November 2, at the 2019 Machete Chronicles 80s Horror Film Festival, our horror short, Shine On, was nominated and won for: Best Film, Best Villain (Rose Sanchez), and Best Lead (Grace H. Bryan).
Here’s what the story is about: Set in 1985 Florida, Shine On is about a family who moves from the northeast for a fresh start after Mama had a mental breakdown. But, what they don’t know is that their new home has a history of horrors and Mama becomes possessed by an ominous manifestation.
